Östangård

About Östangård

The business at Östangård is run by the artists Nadja Weiss and Philippe Boix-Vives. Nadja is an actor and director and Philippe composer and musician. After many years in Stockholm, they took the step to settle permanently in Österlen, where they now live together with Max, the dog Sacha and their horses.

Östangård is a unique farm and is located in one of Sweden’s most beautiful places. Just outside Simrishamn near the old fishing village of Skillinge in Österlen, well embedded in the greenery, is this three-length Bornholm-Red Skånegård, built at the beginning of the 19th century.

The proximity to nature has been a strong driving force but also all the possibilities that exist at Östangård. Two beautiful apartments are available for rent during the period April to September, the rest of the year work stays are offered for artists within the framework of Östangård Performing Arts & Residence.

Östangård also arranges public cultural and food events. Bright venues and culinary meals are also available for management teams and boards looking to hold meetings in an inspiring environment.
